The Chardham Yatra is a pilgrimage that takes a devotee to four important Hindu holy shrines in India that are named Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. All 4 dham are meant for different deities, which includes Badrinath Temple, which has the deity of Lord Vishnu while Kedarnath Temple God Shiva and Gangotri & Yamunotri is belonging to Godess Ganga & Yamuna River. in 8th century. The char dham yatra is started from Haridwar, the gateway of the gods, which is connected to all the four pilgrimages. The infamous trip to the famous shrine does contain so many amazing views and memories with it.
It is the westernmost temple in the Garhwal region. Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna and it is very famous for the temple of Goddess Yamuna and the hot springs at Janki Chatti. The temple of Yamuna was built by Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal.

The other sacred abode which is Gangotri temple is in the town of Uttarakashi which is elevated to the height of 3200 mt above sea level and located on where countless devotees come to wash away their sins in a desperate measure for salvation. This temple perches at an elevation of 3,584 m above sea level, after the Mandakini. Kedarnath is one of the twelve JyotirLings of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath is easy to reach it is accessible by road and the roads to Kedarnath are of better quality. Famous Jyotirling of Lord Shiva has to be visited place where Lord Shiva is made present in the fiery way as a column of light.

It is in a place where altitude is 3133 mt above sea level, on the left side of the river Alakhnanda. The sacred temple is meant only for Lords Vishnu, as the legend goes he tweeted here.
